Shame on TN Police for Jallikattu Protest



On January 22nd, 2017 (Monday) An Indulging act by TN Police to make a peaceful protest as a Violence Multiple accounts from across Tamilnadu say police resorted to arson, breaking and stone throwing themselves to create a narrative that protests turned violent.


 At the same time they resorted to lathi charge and violence against the protestors leading to clashes which further strengthened their claim of violence. Today morning the first reports came from Chennai that vehicles near a police station were set on fire. And a video was out showing crying women police officers jumping out of some window of the police station escaping the fire. Now you can assume who set the fire after watching these videos:







 Kamal Haasan who had actively voiced his opinion over the Jallikattu row and had requested that the sport be regulated, and not banned.



Also,More than 160 people, including 70 policemen, received treatment for injuries at state-run hospitals in the city on Monday after protests against the ban on Jallikattu turned violent.
Doctors said they treated around 97 people, including 67 policemen, at the Government General Hospital, two with severe injuries to the head, back and legs.

At least 70 people, including a police sub-inspector and four police constables, received treatment as outpatients at the Royapettah Government Hospital. Doctors placed at least 15 of them under medical observation before discharge.
