Yesterday tesla motors released their software updates 7.1 for the Model S and Model X (But why they ban the Google Smart Cars???)

This updates allowing the electric cars to park themselves while you stand by and While we watch with Wonder

CEO Elon Musk hopes that from 2018 onwards this features(Summon) will work from anywhere that cars can drive

Summon, the function that autopilot the car to park itself. But for now this features in only Beta Version

Open your garage door, enter your garage, park itself, and shut down. In the morning, you wake up, walk out the front door, and summon your car. It will open the garage door and come to greet you. More broadly, Summon also eliminates the burden of having to squeeze in and out of tight parking spots. During this Beta stage of Summon, we would like customers to become familiar with it on private property.

Controls => Settings => Driver Assistance => Autopilot

On Future they planned to takes that one step further once you arrive home and exit your Model S or Model X

After 2 year this car can drive you from NewYork to LA autopilot.

Since it beta version its not fully automated, Summon can only drive straight, so you have to line up your car up behind your garage door. We hope in future all such things are sets up
